Dr. Tzakis is a pediatric liver and intestinal transplant surgeon for Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. Dr. Tzakis is referred to as "world renowned in their field and involved in many research projects as seen in their numerous publications and clinical grants support. They will have contact with the trainees on a daily basis in the discussion of the management of patients as well as research collaborators and mentors. The trainees will have access to the large clinical data base of the transplant patients as well as the basic research lab of the Division of Transplantation." His abilities and talent at what he does is truly something special. I could have not found a better surgeon than Dr. Tzakis. I thank Dr. Tzakis and his staff at Jackson Memorial Hospital for the jobs they do day in and day out. I highly recommend Dr. Tzakis to anyone whom requires a transplant or surgery of the GI tract and/or intestinal region.
