P.O.D.

P.O.D. (Payable on Death) is a San Diego band that has their own defined style and undeniable roots. Formed in 1992, the four original members are all born-again Christians, whom display their love for God, and music with their unique blend of reggae, latin, hip-hop, and rock. MTV discribes the band's music as "infectious grooves of reggae and Latin music and the heavy deliverance of hip-hop and rock, San Diego's hard rock four-peice defined a universal message." (http://www.mtv.com/music/#/music/artist/pod/bio.jhtml) Originally produced under a Christian label, their albums were generally available in Christian music/book stores, but their recent success has given them more distribution.

Band members have changed over the years, but their success with music has not. Hit titles such as "Alive," "Youth of the Nation," and their most recent "Goodbye for now" have all been radio hits.
